Amura

Amura's is quite literally the best sushi in the entire world. I have gone to probably 300-400 across multiple states and 4 countries, nothing compares to this restaurant. My whole family comes here every week because we LOVE sushi :) The top rolls in my opinion: 1) Spicy Bubba 2) Mango Tango 3) Wave Rider They also have amazingly delicious appetizers too (gyoza and seaweed!!!) and awesome drinks! The staff is amazing :) Zach at the bar rocks, or Harry at a booth! This is my #1 restaurant ever, and my top destination whenever I come to Orlando. I especially love the sushi boat!

Fantastic sushi with a nice ambiance and great service, couldn't ask for more. Harry our server is always so cheery and delightful. He knows what customer services, and keeps us entertained with a level of attentiveness you'd expect from a high end restaurant. The sushi is great quality and well presented. The decore is nice and inviting. There is outdoor seating as well. They have a nice sized bar inside as well. Note that this refers to the Lake Mary location. I can't comment on any others.

**Review for Amura Hibachi Grill** Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Amura Hibachi Grill. The food portions were what I'd expect for a lunch serving. I ordered the "Steak Bento Box", and I must say, the steak was cooked to perfection and tasted great. The miso soup was decent, nothing too extraordinary but palatable. The speed of food preparation was acceptable, and I didn't have to wait too long for my meal. What stood out to me was the friendly demeanor of the servers. They were accommodating and made the dining experience enjoyable. On the downside, the restaurant's interior feels a bit outdated. I think it's high time they consider updating the furniture to give the place a fresher look. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable, but the toilets could use a bit more attention and care. In conclusion, I'd recommend Amura Hibachi Grill for its tasty food and amiable staff. With a few improvements, especially in the decor department, this place could be top-notch.

We have not been here in awhile, and we always liked the food, but tonight was a disappointment. We ordered, clear soup, ginger salad and 4 sushi rolls. The clear soup was hands down the worst clear soup I have ever had and nothing like it used to taste. The salad was very good and 2 of our 4 rolls were quite good but the other 2 were bland. SAS that is was not like it used to be, and it has been less than a year since we ate here and had a great meal. Not sure I'd I would return based on our meal tonight. Our server was very attentive and personable.

Wow—poop veins in all of our shrimp. Yummy, right? I’m really not even sure what else there is to say here. You don’t serve someone a $60 takeout order and not properly clean the shrimp. We live about 25 minutes away so I gave them a call and let them know and their response was that I could drive the food back to the restaurant to get a refund.

Poor rating is for management, everyone else was great. Came in with my family when visiting and there was a kid’s birthday party going on. Two tables for kids and two tables for adults. About 24 people total. The kids were out of control, the parents weren’t doing anything to try to keep them under control. I made eye contact with several of them as we couldn’t hear others at our table speak, it was so loud. We would’ve left but we were starving and it was a Friday night and had a reservation. Kids screaming and breaking multiple glasses. Then the kids were running around after finishing eating, ending up right behind me screaming in my ear. I finally had to tell them to quiet down because they were yelling in my ear and no one else was going to say something. We tried to make the best of it and enjoy our food. We spoke to management at the end and he obviously couldn’t care less. Saying things like, “We can’t tell people what to do” with a very forced “I’m sorry” like he thought we were bothering him by bringing this to his attention and obviously eager to walk away. I’ve never felt so disrespected by anyone like this at a restaurant, which is why I felt the need to leave this review. I’ve worked in hospitality for 15 years and couldn’t imagine anyone acting this way towards guests. We paid our bill in full for a horrible experience and left feeling taken advantage of. I saw other recent negative reviews about management. I’d steer clear of this place until they get this issue resolved.
